Hair removal

Waxing

Waxing is an effective and easy way of removing unwanted hair.
Results can last between 4 - 6 weeks (each person differs).
I use a warm cream wax and a soothing after wax lotion.

Aftercare for waxing

All of the following should be avoided for 24 - 48 hours following waxing treatment

* Sunbathing, sun beds, sauna, steam rooms, hot baths, swimming
* Soap / perfumed products and make up on the treated area
* Tight clothing
* Touching the treated area

Electrolysis

Electrolysis (also known as epilation) is a safe and permanent way of removing unwanted hair
from the face and body.

Electrolysis destroys the growth centre of the hair with heat energy, each hair is treated individually.

A very fine probe is inserted into the hair follicle at the surface of the skin; the hair is then treated and removed harmlessly by tweezers, a soothing lotion is then applied at the end of your treatment.

Since many factors influence hair growth you will need several treatments, the total number of
sessions needed to remove hair permanently from a particular area varies from person to person.
Most people will have a treatment once a week or every other week  to start with,
however the unwanted hair will be gone once the series of treatments have been completed.
Each treatment lasts between 5 minutes and 1 hour

Electrolysis has no permanent side effects; sometimes a slight reddening of the skin occurs
during or after treatment but this will only last for a short time.

Electrolysis is safe and unlike depilatories or bleaches, no harsh chemicals are used.
